Dahua Technology Launches Smart Home PIR Module, Partners with Country Garden for 500k-Home Integration

Dahua Technology, another heavyweight in China’s IoT sensing sector, announced on November 5 the release of its DH-PIR-H100 smart home PIR sensor module, alongside a strategic cooperation agreement with Country Garden Group. Under the deal, the DH-PIR-H100 will be pre-installed in 500,000 new residential units of Country Garden’s 2026 property projects nationwide, marking the largest-scale integration of PIR sensors in China’s real estate industry to date.

The DH-PIR-H100 features ultra-low power consumption design with a standby power of only 0.06mW, supporting 5-year continuous operation with a single CR2450 lithium battery. It adopts a compact form factor of 15mm×10mm×5mm, allowing seamless integration into smart light switches, thermostats, and security panels. Equipped with a 110° horizontal detection angle and 3D Fresnel lens, the module can accurately identify human movement while ignoring pets weighing less than 30kg. “This partnership leverages our sensing expertise and Country Garden’s channel advantages,” noted Zhang Wei, Dahua’s Smart Home Business Director. “We’ve optimized the module’s RF communication protocol to be compatible with mainstream smart home ecosystems including Xiaomi MIUI Home and Huawei HarmonyOS Connect, targeting a 15% penetration rate in China’s new smart home market by 2026.”
