August 8, 2026 – Osaka, Japan – Panasonic Expands Ecosystem Integration
Panasonic Industry has announced that its PaPIRs+ flat lens occupancy sensors are now natively supported by Lutron and Crestron lighting control systems, two of the largest players in the commercial lighting market.
The integration allows Lutron and Crestron controllers to directly read occupancy status from PaPIRs+ sensors without additional gateways. The sensors communicate via 0-10V and relay interfaces standard in the industry.
“This integration simplifies specification for lighting designers,” said a Panasonic product manager. “Architects can now specify PaPIRs+ with confidence, knowing they work seamlessly with leading control systems.”
The PaPIRs+ features 416 detection zones and twice the sensitivity of previous generations, enabling detection of seated occupants in office environments.
Lutron and Crestron have both added PaPIRs+ to their approved sensor lists, effective immediately.
