Bosch Security Systems received the Security Industry Association’s (SIA) ‘Product of the Year’ award for its BlueLine AI PIR motion sensor at ISC West 2026. The sensor was recognized for its AI-powered neural network that distinguishes humans from pets with 98% accuracy.
The award jury praised the sensor’s ability to virtually eliminate false alarms while maintaining detection reliability, addressing a decades-old challenge in the security industry.
“The BlueLine AI represents the first practical application of edge AI in PIR sensing,” said the SIA awards committee. “It transforms the security industry’s approach to pet immunity.”
Bosch has already secured contracts with three national security integrators for the BlueLine AI, with initial shipments scheduled for June 2026.
