Amazon has announced three new Sidewalk-compatible PIR sensors from third-party manufacturers, significantly expanding the ecosystem for long-range, low-power motion detection.

3. Ecolink Sidewalk Z-Wave Bridge

Features: Converts existing Z-Wave PIR sensors to Sidewalk, extends range of existing sensors
Market Impact
“The expansion of Sidewalk-compatible sensors gives customers more choice,” said an Amazon spokesperson. “We now have over 25 Sidewalk-enabled PIR sensors from 12 manufacturers.”
Sidewalk now covers approximately 92% of US residential addresses, with over 200 million active bridges (Echo and Ring devices).
