The sensor features supply voltages as low as 1.4V with current consumption of just 2\u00b5A at 1.8V.<\/p>\n<p>The PYD 2597 is designed for battery-operated motion detection applications including IoT sensors, security systems, and energy-saving controls. It includes an integrated Motion Detection Unit with interrupt functionality and a one-wire digital interface.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The PYD 2597 has generated significant interest from IoT device manufacturers,&#8221; said Hermann Karagoezoglu, Product Manager at Excelitas. &#8220;Volume production ensures we can meet the growing demand for ultra-low power PIR sensors.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Initial customers include several smart home device manufacturers and automotive component suppliers.
