Its integrated wake-up mode enables true zero-power standby for battery-operated devices.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The market has been hungry for a sensor that can run for years on a coin cell battery,&#8221; said Hermann Karagoezoglu, Product Manager at Excelitas. &#8220;The PYD 2597 meets that need while maintaining high detection performance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Major customers include security system manufacturers, smart home device makers, and industrial IoT companies. The sensor is also being used in energy-harvesting applications where maintenance-free operation is critical.<\/p>\n<p>Excelitas has ramped production capacity to meet demand, with volume production now at full capacity.
